What was my life like,
before there was you?
It’s difficult to recall when our
love was just brand new.
And yet I can't imagine, a
life that's without you.
Each day has been a lesson learned,
and still we traverse on,
Holding hands and joining hearts
as we walk the great beyond.
I’m glad that destiny joined us,
or maybe it was God.
But either way I’m grateful
and the union I applaud.
